People think concrete is cheaper but it is actually the same as granite because of the labor in the long run so my husband decided to go right over the existing countertop with level quick concrete.
And of course these countertops often develop a patina from years of use that lends a space character unlike crisp and clean stones.
The costs are similar with a simple concrete counter being slightly less expensive.
